Between two sizes: If you are in between two sizes, we recommend to go the bigger size in the Vanguard Pants, and the size smaller in the Vanguard Vest.

Fempro Armour’s cricket protection was independently impact-tested at 50 joules using a motorcycle-derived protocol, transmitting approximately 15 kN.

Under the same internal comparative conditions, a Remfry protector transmitted 25–29 kN and a Gray-Nicolls protector approximately 40 kN. These competitor results are not independent certifications, but demonstrate how differently cricket protectors manage the same impact.

HOW

Unlike existing products, which at best, only slow down impact energy while still allowing the majority of it to transfer into the player’s body, our technology goes further. Our armour not only slows the energy but also disperses it across the entire plate, significantly reducing the impact point. Additionally, it absorbs and redirects the force away from the body – much like how airbags in cars, cushion and deflect energy to enhance protection. Impact tested against European motorcycle protection standards, with results showing 15 kN of transmitted force — exceeding the CE Level 1 benchmark.

  • Energy delay – the air molecules lock together, making the armour initially hard to slow the energy force down.
  • Dissipation of impact energy – it’s a process of distributing the force of an impact across a larger surface area, rather than concentrating it at a single point.
  • Energy absorbing – any energy left in the armour will be absorbent and pushed away from the body

CARE

FABRIC:

  • Cold hand wash or gentle machine wash with mild detergent.
  • Do not soak.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not spin dry.
  • Do not dry clean.
  • Do not iron.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Line dry out of direct sunlight.
  • Avoid any rough surfaces such as pool edges, dancefloors or rough ground in general.
  • Do not pack or store when wet.
  • Remove any excess water and dry without delay.
  • Separate light colours from dark before washing.
  • Avoid excess contact with suntan lotions and harsh chemicals sometimes found in saunas, spas and pools.
  • Avoid excess contact with harsh chemicals such as deodorants, make-up or perfume.
  • Heat transfer maybe damaged if being washed in hot water

ARMOUR:

  • Not suitable to be washed in machine, only hand washed or wiped down.

IMPERFECTIONS

Due to the injection moulding process, the body armour may have slight cosmetic imperfection, which do not affect its quality, durability or protective performance.

    I have just given my new Fempro Armour a test run in the cricket nets. It is so comfortable to move, run and bat in. I let one ball through that hit me square on the thigh armour. Not the slightest of bruise to be seen afterwards.
    I look forward to wearing the chest and thigh armour with confidence in the upcoming cricket season.

    I recently purchased the full cricket armour and wore it to a women’s comp for three T20 matches. The customer service I received was outstanding. Stephanie assisted me with sizing selection and I was also connected with a woman who was already wearing the gear and had the opportunity to ask her questions about it before I purchased. It gave me the confidence to face any ball bowled at me without the worry of being injured. It’s easy to put on, the pads are lightweight, easy to insert and honestly easy to forget once in place that I was even wearing it. The thigh guards are much less bulky than other brands which made running in them easier. I only wish the shorts had the option to insert the abdominal guard for women (the box). The breast guard is fantastic. I’ve been hit in the breast in the past so wearing this armour makes me forget about trying to protect my chest and just play my shots. I now just need the confidence to take photos of myself wearing the armour 😂 Honestly worth every cent. I see it as an investment for future games I’m playing. I’m so happy to know I’m protecting my aging bones and breast tissue. Women in cricket are some of the greatest women I’ve ever met! I will continue sharing my FemPro Armour experience with every woman I come across 👏👏👏
