I purchased the Shin Gard for my son . He loves it. It’s a great design, low profile and not bulky so it hasn’t changed the way he runs or moves. The washable sleeve is a great idea. The large size protective guard is perfect for his height - 194cm, and doesn’t hold moisture from sweat or water. Very light weight. Great design that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a shin guard in AFL.

This knee guard gives me far better protection than the current sleeve one I have which compresses my leg by end of a riding day. Bropro is much easier to put on, the retaining straps do not dig in and the protection pad is far superior to what Bropro has replaced.

The protection singlet does a great job of keeping the Athena Armour in place. The whole set works well together for an easy on/off experience.

I bought the Athena Chest Protector for karate and I'm loving it! It's lightweight, breathable and more importantly, works in reducing the impact shock from sparring. Wearing the protector has given me a new level of comfort in my training and I'm so glad I made the investment.

I have just given my new Fempro Armour a test run in the cricket nets. It is so comfortable to move, run and bat in. I let one ball through that hit me square on the thigh armour. Not the slightest of bruise to be seen afterwards.

The bro pro body armour and hip protection is beyond a doubt the best product I’ve seen on the current available market. The padding provides absorption on impact causing less physical damage to the body. I bought the latest model which look far more durable. I highly recommend this product to anyone involved in physical contact sport.

After a breast cancer diagnosis, mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, I needed to find a way to to keep my chest protected while playing roller derby. The Athena armor is surprisingly comfortable, I quickly forget I'm even wearing it. It's breathability is excellent as well. The slightly higher cost compared to other chest protection options is absolutely worth it. Athena is definitely superior for providing excellent protection, specifically for the chest. I expect it will keep me safe from significant bruising and chest injury for quite some time. It also seems to be suitable for a wide range of body types, regardless of frame and cup size. The larger size is great for me as a 38DD.

Love my vest! I wore the FemPro Armour impact vest for the first time over the weekend in my first league (Broncos) game back for the year and I honestly noticed such a difference. Normally after a game my chest is so sore and bruised, but this is the first time I’ve woken up without that pain. It was comfortable to wear, didn’t restrict movement at all and gave me so much more confidence going into contact. Definitely impressed and keen to keep wearing it all season.

Wow- this will stay in my kit all season, I injured my sternum a couple of years ago going into contact. Now with my vest I can make dominant tackles with no fear of exacerbating my sternum. The confidence I have translates into my performance

I chose level 2 armour and love that I can stay cool on hot days just wearing this and leaving my adventure jacket at home.

After a kayak impact to my sternum which left me unable to train for months, I purchased body armour to wear under my pfd. I love how it warms up with my body heat and softens to move with me. I feel much safer paddling in training and competitions knowing if I get hit again, my ribs have better protection!

So many good things to say about this after trialling Knox Urban Pro, A/Stars Techair Off Road airbags, Leatt 5.5 Body Protection. Much lighter, more breathable, more feeling of it not being on, until you need it...then it is there doing the job for you.
Kidney protection is a bonus the others don't have.
Not to be worn as an outer garment.
Definitely buy a size down as it is stretchy.
